First, insert a water-soaked cleaning ball into the air-cleaning adapter, then connect it to the first straight pipe attached to the reducer. Attach a safety cap to the end of the pipeline, ensuring the cap's opening faces downward. Limit the compressed air pressure to no more than 0.8 MPa; open the air valve slowly, increasing the flow only when the concrete begins to discharge smoothly. Close the air valve immediately after the process is complete. Water cleaning requires a tight clearance between the cutting ring and the wear plate, as well as an abundant water supply, to strictly prevent water behind the cleaning ball from seeping forward.

Since the cleaning range is limited, long-distance lines may need to be cleaned in sections. This method requires caution and carries a higher risk; therefore, personnel must stay clear of the discharge end to prevent injury from flying aggregates or the cleaning ball.
