Because special vehicles belong to the automotive industry, China has strict regulations on enterprise entry, registered capital, foreign investment ratio, product registration, certification, inspection, and defect recalls for the special vehicle industry. However, high-end products such as hybrid articulated booms are limited by technological capabilities. The number of companies mastering high-end R&D, design, and manufacturing technologies is limited. Jiuhe Heavy Industry is currently one of the few domestic manufacturers capable of developing and producing aerial work platforms with a working height of over 45 meters.
