This pumping method is not only highly efficient but also adaptable to diverse construction requirements, ensuring a continuous and stable supply of concrete to the construction site.
In 1907, French engineers developed the concrete delivery pump and subsequently filed a patent for it.
In 1927, a German company manufactured a concrete pump that was successfully put into operation; this marked the world's first commercial concrete pump.
In 1932, Dutch engineers developed the horizontal concrete pump. Due to its excellent operational performance, this design feature remains a standard in many concrete delivery pumps to this day.
In 1959, a German company produced the fully hydraulic concrete pump, thereby laying the technical foundation for modern concrete pumping technology.
In the 1960s, the boom-equipped concrete pump truck was invented, transforming the concrete delivery pump from a stationary unit into a mobile, vehicle-mounted system.
For the thirty years following the 1950s, my country engaged in continuous development and reverse engineering of concrete delivery pumps; however, these efforts were unsuccessful, and none of the resulting units ever achieved commercial viability—primarily due to poor manufacturing techniques that led to excessive mechanical failures.
It was not until 1982—through a collaborative effort with a Japanese company—that a trailer-mounted concrete delivery pump was successfully developed and launched into the market. This achievement filled a critical gap in China's domestic market for commercial concrete delivery pumps.

The operating principle of a concrete pump is primarily based on the following key steps:
✅Concrete Suction: Driven by the hydraulic system, the main hydraulic cylinder pushes the concrete piston forward, while the piston in the concrete cylinder simultaneously retracts. This action draws the concrete from the hopper into the conveying cylinder through the suction port of the sliding valve.
✅Concrete Discharge: Subsequently, the piston rod of the main hydraulic cylinder continues to advance, triggering the reversing mechanism; this connects the concrete cylinder to the S-valve, thereby forcing the concrete out through the delivery pipeline.
✅Continuous Cycle: This process repeats continuously, ensuring that the concrete in the hopper is continuously drawn into and pumped out of the conveying cylinder, ultimately reaching the work site via the pipeline.
This pumping method is not only highly efficient but also adaptable to diverse construction requirements, ensuring a continuous and stable supply of concrete to the construction site.
The pumping system primarily consists of a hopper, a mixing mechanism, a concrete distribution valve, concrete conveying cylinders, a washing chamber, and main hydraulic cylinders.

JIUHE Truck-mounted concrete pump
With the rapid development of the construction industry, methods for transporting concrete are constantly evolving. In the past, stationary concrete pumps (or "trailer concrete pumps") were the primary method, but truck-mounted concrete pumps ( also called "concrete line pump" )have now gradually become the mainstream choice.
Precautions for the Use of Trailer Mounted Concrete Pumps
The trailer-mounted concrete pump is a very common piece of construction equipment; favored by contractors for its compact size, ease of transport, and cost-effectiveness.
What causes the S-pipe of a concrete pump to not swing properly?
The S-tube is a crucial component of a concrete boom pump. Its primary function is to connect the boom's piping to the concrete delivery cylinder, enabling continuous concrete pumping.
How to Properly Clean Concrete Pump Pipes After Pumping
After concrete placement is complete, any remaining concrete in the pump pipes must be cleaned out promptly. How should this cleaning be done?

How to Troubleshoot Unusual Noise from a Concrete Pump
Trailer Concrete pump are a very common type of concrete conveying tool. During construction, they can be used not only for conveying concrete in basements but also for conveying concrete in high-rise buildings, making them quite versatile.
How Do Concrete Pump Trucks Achieve Effective Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction?
National policies respond to energy conservation and emission reduction, and the international environment demands that we also conserve energy and reduce emissions. Therefore, almost all manufacturers and sellers in the construction machinery field are emphasizing energy conservation and environmental protection.
Concrete Pouring Pipe Blockage: Common Causes & Proven Prevention Methods for Pump Pipes
Anyone who works with concrete pump trucks knows that if you're not careful or something goes wrong, the pump pipe can get completely clogged with concrete, turning the concrete into a lump of coal.
