Handling concrete pump truck hoses requires careful attention to technique; improper handling can easily lead to blockages or even explosions.
Handling concrete pump truck hoses requires careful attention to technique; improper handling can easily lead to blockages or even explosions.
The following three points should be observed during hose operation:
✅1. Contact the operator at the hose end before starting or stopping concrete pumping. The bending radius of the hose end should be greater than 1 meter. Operators must not stand at the pipe outlet to prevent injury from sudden concrete spray.
The delivery pipeline of small concrete pump trucks must be fixed and properly supported. Bending the delivery hose is strictly prohibited to prevent explosion. If the pipeline is blocked, pumping may resume after clearing the blockage, as the end of the hose may swing rapidly, potentially causing instantaneous concrete spray. Workers must not approach the hose.
Never stand at the edge of a building and hold the end of the hose. The swaying of the hose or the spraying of concrete could result in a fall.
✅2. Before pumping concrete with a small concrete pump truck, first pump clean water to check all pipe clamps and ensure they are sealed and leak-proof. Then pump pipe lubricant, generally mortar, but cement slurry can also be used. Pour the mortar into the hopper for pressurization. When the mortar is almost completely pressurized, pour in the required concrete for normal pressurization. If mortar pressurization causes blockage, remove the front section of the piping, take out the internal dewatering block, reconnect the piping, and it will be ready for normal operation.
✅3. When the small concrete pump truck is running, it is strictly forbidden to put your hands into the hopper or water tank. During pumping, the concrete material should be kept above the mixing axis; vacuum pumping or pumping without material is prohibited. If pumping is paused for an extended period, the pump must be restarted every (15-30) minutes, reverse pumping for 1-2 strokes, then forward pumping for 1-2 strokes to prevent the concrete material in the pipe from solidifying.
There are several precautions to take with small concrete pump truck hoses. It's important to regularly check the safety chain connection between the hose and the boom to ensure it's secure. During pump truck operation, take precautions to prevent the rubber hose from bending or becoming blocked. Follow safe operating procedures and ensure civilized and safe construction practices.

Operational Details for Trailer Type Concrete Conveying Pumps
Based on years of R&D and manufacturing experience, Jiuhe Heavy Industry identifies the following key operational details for small concrete delivery pumps:
JIUHE Truck-mounted concrete pump
With the rapid development of the construction industry, methods for transporting concrete are constantly evolving. In the past, stationary concrete pumps (or "trailer concrete pumps") were the primary method, but truck-mounted concrete pumps ( also called "concrete line pump" )have now gradually become the mainstream choice.
Precautions for the Use of Trailer Mounted Concrete Pumps
The trailer-mounted concrete pump is a very common piece of construction equipment; favored by contractors for its compact size, ease of transport, and cost-effectiveness.
What causes the S-pipe of a concrete pump to not swing properly?
The S-tube is a crucial component of a concrete boom pump. Its primary function is to connect the boom's piping to the concrete delivery cylinder, enabling continuous concrete pumping.
How to Properly Clean Concrete Pump Pipes After Pumping
After concrete placement is complete, any remaining concrete in the pump pipes must be cleaned out promptly. How should this cleaning be done?
Everything You Need to Know About Safely Using a Trailer Concrete Pump
The following section outlines operational techniques and important precautions for trailer-mounted concrete pumps.
How to Troubleshoot Unusual Noise from a Concrete Pump
Trailer Concrete pump are a very common type of concrete conveying tool. During construction, they can be used not only for conveying concrete in basements but also for conveying concrete in high-rise buildings, making them quite versatile.
How Do Concrete Pump Trucks Achieve Effective Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction?
National policies respond to energy conservation and emission reduction, and the international environment demands that we also conserve energy and reduce emissions. Therefore, almost all manufacturers and sellers in the construction machinery field are emphasizing energy conservation and environmental protection.
